AIKEN - Mr. Gayle Raymond “Jug” Dunker, 68, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
Mr. Dunker was born in Jackson, MN, a son of the late Raymond and Marie Harris Dunker. He was a US Army veteran serving as a medic during the Vietnam War, a wholesale distributor for Fairmont Wholesale in Fairmont, MN, and a member of Dean Swamp Baptist Church, Springfield, SC. He was a loving father and grandfather, and a man who loved the Lord, his church, and his friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Dean Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Dalton Ward officiating.
He is survived by his son, Cory (Ginger) Dunker, Aiken; five grandchildren, Erin Mullikin, Lauren Glen Mullikin, Ryan Mullikin, Cameron Dunker and Evan Dunker; two sisters, Gayleen Woizeschke, Windom, MN, Myrna Braun, Mankato, MN; three brothers, Gary Dunker, Kent Dunker, Donald Dunker, all of Mountain Lake, MN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, LaRaye and Lora-Lee Dunker.
