Anna Spriggs Lookabill

AIKEN, SC – ANNA LEE SPRIGGS LOOKABILL, 83, beloved wife of Joe H. Lookabill, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Eden Gardens. A native of Berkley Springs, WV, Mrs. Lookabill was a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Ruth Fearnow Spriggs. She had lived in Aiken for 3 years and was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of South River Yacht Club in Edgewater, MD and Corinthian Yacht Club in Ridge MD. Survivors, in addition to her husband of 62 years, include a son, Thomas D. (Vickie) Lookabill, Sr., Aiken, five grandchildren, Glenn Lookabill, Brian Lookabill, Sarah Lookabill, Thomas Lookabill, Jr., and Joseph Lookabill, two great-grandchildren, Hunter Lookabill and Sierra Lookabill and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. John Frye officiating. Private interment will be in Historic Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Clowser, Glenn Lookabill, Brian Lookabill, Thomas Lookabill, Jr., Joseph Lookabill and Aaron Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will beh the Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club of Eden Garedens, Wyatt Johnson, Howard Etheridge, Joe Weaver, Henry Windmiller, Joe Elliott, Eddie Irwin and Allen Blancett. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aikne, SC.
