Hilda Usry Whittle

AIKEN - Mrs. Hilda Usry Whittle, 73, died Sunday, January 9, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Brancie Stephens and Charlie Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wesley Overstreet, Rowland Gochicoa, Charles Jones, Charlie Kelly, Keith Riley, Mike Whittle. Mrs. Whittle was born in Augusta, GA, a daughter of the late Albert Wyman and Leona Garner Usry. She was a resident of Aiken for 45 years, a homemaker and owner of Ridgecrest Quick Shop for 26 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Walter C. Whittle, Jr.; a daughter, Jackie (Jim) Cushman, Aiken; two sons, Walter "Bubba" Whittle, III, Aiken and his companion, Sheila Miller, Timbo Whittle, Aiken, SC; four grandchildren, Wesley Overstreet, Savanna Elizabeth "P-Nut" Whittle, Chris Cushman, Casey Cushman.
