Phronsie Huckabee Brooks

AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Phronsie Naomi Huckabee Brooks, 87, widow of William Brooks, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Mrs. Brooks was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Nannie Lou Boatwright Huckabee. She retired from Aiken County Hospital and was a member of Aiken First Presbyterian Church and the Newcommers Club. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy C. Moseley, Pensacola, FL, Elmer L. Moseley, Kennedale, TX and Norris E. Moseley, Aiken, a brother, R. L. Huckabee, Aiken, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev.’s Bruce Fox and William Moss officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
