Sarah McClure Westmoreland

AIKEN, SC -- SARAH McCLURE WESTMORELAND, 82, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Charleston, SC, Mrs. Westmoreland was a daughter of the late George W. and Catherine Broad Clark. She had lived in Aiken most of her life and was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons; Charles E. McClure, Columbia, SC, Jack L. (Maria) McClure, Sr., Aiken and Edward A. (Patricia) McClure, Barnwell, SC, a daughter, Sarah (David) Badger, Augusta, GA, eleven grandchildren; Angel Badger, Carrie Badger, David Badger, Jr., Charles R. McClure, Kenneth W. McClure, Lisa Marie Kimsey, Jack L. McClure, Jr., Timothy C. McClure, Cheryl Hilton, Stefanie M. McAlister and Jessica McClure, three step-grandchildren; Joan Walker, Paula Krause and Jacquelyn Young, twenty-five great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Priester, Barnwell, SC. Mrs. Westmoreland was preceded in death by two sons; David M. McClure and Harold Westmoreland, Jr. The family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
