Elizabeth Reardon Kight

AIKEN - Mrs. Elizabeth "Mama Kight" Reardon Kight, 87, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Michael Kramer, Rob Boyles, Kevin Kight, David Miller, Chris Morris and Jason Hucks. Mrs. Kight was born in Stillmore, GA, a daughter of the late Jacob Franklin and Isabelle Blizzard Reardon. She moved to Aiken in 1941, and was the office manager for Maxwell Brothers Furniture for many years. She was also a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Colleen K. (Harry) Morris, Aiken, Kay K. English, Moncks Corner, SC; two sons, Kenneth G. (Annette Hair) Kight, Winter Park, FL, Harry R. (Martha) Kight, Aiken; nine grandchildren, Brenda Bridgers, Donna (Michael) Kramer, Michelle delValle, Erika (Rob) Boyles, Tawney (David) Miller, Meredith English, Leigh (Jason) Hucks, Derrek (Stacey) English, Kevin Kight; step grandchildren, Emory (Shelley) Morris, Wesley Morris, Chris Morris; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Eloise Beasley, Metter, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gordon Kight.
