AIKEN, SC -- Shari Lynn Clifford, 55, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2011. A native of Eaton, OH, Shari was a daughter of the late Donald Richard and Joyce Louise Hook Hurd, Sr. She served in the United States Navy for 3 years, and had been a resident of Aiken for 28 years. She was an administrative assistant and records management clerk with Pacific Northwest National Life at Parsons for the Department of Energy, and a part-time research librarian at Aiken Regional Public Library. She was also a member of River of Life Church, and retired member of the Board of Commissioners of the Silver Bluff Volunteer Fire Department. Shari was the loving wife of Steven Andrew Clifford for 28 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters; Joyce (Grant) Bledsoe, Charleston, SC, Michelle (Jared) McGee, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Christina (Daniel) Gunter, Aiken, SC, seven grandchildren; Kelsey McGee, Grayson Bledsoe, Elliott Bledsoe, Emily Bledsoe, Shelby Watkins, Joshua McGee, and Garrett Bledsoe, step-mother, Lucille Hurd, Columbus, IN, four sisters; May (Len) Burrell, Eaton, OH, Marty (Ed) White, Atlanta, GA, Mary (Fred) Kane, Ladson, SC and Cindy (Marvin_) Miller, Eaton, OH, and a brother, Donald R. (Jen) Hurd, Jr., New Paris, OH. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 PM Sunday at River of Life Church followed by a Celebration of her Life at 5:00 PM.
