James Harvey Hankinson

AIKEN, SC – JAMES HARVEY HANKINSON, 58, of Aiken, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at his residence. A native of Aiken, James was a son of the late William Harvey Hankinson and Margaret Berry Kneece. He was a pipefitter. Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Anna Hankinson, a son, David James Hankinson, former wife, Brenda Hankinson, two grandchildren, Summer Elizabeth Hankinson and Jackson Noah Hankinson, five sisters, Mary Barker, Faye Golding, Skeet Brunson, Sheryl Lundblade, all of Aiken and Karen Mazzola of Sterling, VA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Golding, Sean Power, Eric Lundblade, Travis Ryan, Raymond Varros and Dennis Lundblade. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow pipefitters. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Southern Care Hospice.
