Annie McArty Outzs McGee

AIKEN, SC – ANNIE OUZTS McGEE, 89, of Aiken, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Saluda County, Mrs. McGee spent most of her life in Aiken, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Della Rogers McCarty. Mrs. McGee was first married to the late Dorian Ouzts and then to the late Ernest McGee. She was retired from the Graniteville Company and was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was an avid gardener. Survivors include a daughter, Cora (Wayne) Ford, Aiken, a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Ouzts, Aiken, four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Carla) Ford, Aiken, Debra Ouzts, Bluffton, SC, Tammy Caughman, Lexington, SC and Sondra Ouzts, Wilmington, DE, three step-children, George (Myrtle) McGee, Evans, GA, Carolyn (John) Carver, Batesburg and Robert (Linda) McGee, Batesburg and eleven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, C. D. Ouzts. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse Funeral Home with The Rev. J. Chris Fischer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith McGee, Phil McGee, Mickey McGee, Bill Ford and Randal Daley.
