AIKEN, SC -- CYNTHIA DAINE WALRATH, 47, beloved wife of Ronald Charles Walrath, Sr., died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Born in Birmingham, AL, Cynthia was a daughter of Leonard Bill Dunaway, Sr., and the late Betty Parker Dunaway. She grew up in Leeds, AL before moving to the Lexington, SC area in 1990. She was a former school bus driver for the Lexington County School District, and had lived in Aiken for the last year.
Survivors, in addition to her husband Ronald, include her father, Leonard of Ragland, AL, a daughter, Ashley Brooke Petty and husband Jason, Concord, NC, two sons; Ronnie Charles Walrath, Jr.and fiance Lauren Dangerfield, West Columbia, SC and Jason Norman Walrath, Lexington, SC, a granddaughter, Kelsie Nicole Walrath, two sisters; Darlene (Michael) Yarborough, Odenville, AL and Pamela (Randy) Philliips, Lincoln, AL and a brother, Leonard B. Dunaway Jr., Lincoln, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
