Nina Faye Cummings Adams

BARNWELL, SC -- NINA FAYE CUMMINGS ADAMS, 81, widow of Henry F. Adams, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at her residence. A native of Maryville, TN, Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Frank and Lydia Cummings. She was a resident of Aiken County for many years before moving to Barnwell in 2007. She was a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church in New Ellenton, where she was formerly very active. She was a homemaker and an avid caterer. Survivors include three sons; Dennis (Pat) Adams, Aiken, Gary Adams, Barnwell and Darryl Adams, New Ellenton, three grandchildren; Bethanie (Alan) Teuton,Aiken,S.C, Brian Adams,New Ellenton,S.C, and Brandi Adams,Peorie,IL, and two sisters; Betty Baker and Nell Garland, both of Maryville, TN. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Gareth Hegler officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.Pallbearers will include Grady Buzhardt, James Parrish, Terrel Eaves, Brian Adams, Alan Teuton and Chuck Caldwell.
