Mrs. Thelma N. Jackson, 92, the beloved wife of Everette Satcher, died Monday April 16, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at Shellhouse Funeral Home, 924 Hayne Ave., Aiken, with Dr. Fred Andrea, III officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens
Pallbearers will be J.W. Williford, Terrell Williford, Jake Marsh, DeWayne Faglier, Bob Jackson and Jerry Jackson.
She was born in Glascock County, GA, to the late Martha Sammons and Jackson Newsome. She was a retired peach farmer and a member of the Aiken First Baptist Church
Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by husbands Lewis Holmes Jackson and Theodore Widener.
Survivors include a daughter Drucilla “Dru” (Olin) Wood, Aiken; two grandchildren Lisa (David) Thompson, North Augusta; and Sherri (Wayne) Matthews, Saluda; three great-grandchildren Stuart Thompson, Derek Thompson, and Dylan Matthews; stepdaughter Florence (Carl) Merback, Johnston; stepson Edward (Grace) Satcher, Ridge Spring; step-grandchildren Janet Rushton, Johnston; Elizabeth Cumbee, Ridge Spring; Mike Satcher, Watkinsville, GA; Tonya King, Johnston; Marlo Ready, Warrenville; five step-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
