Charles "Gene" R. E. Rapp

AIKEN, SC -- CHARLES R. E. "GENE" RAPP, 77, passed away February 19, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers from complications of cancer. He was a member of Sweetwater County Club, PGA, Partners Club, VFW and American Legion. He attended Calvary Chapel of Aiken. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Rapp, a sister, Rosina McClelland, 6 children; Linn Bobo, Kimberly Peterson, Michael Rapp, Karl Rapp, Beth Davisson and Melissa Rapp, 2 stepdaughters; Rhonda Summers and Brenda Thornton, 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Calvary Chapel of Aiken.
