Julia Hilderbrandt Bohlmann

Aiken-Julia Hildebrandt Bohlmann, 83, died Thursday, February 25, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Edward Lorenz Bohlmann and a number of nieces and nephews . Mrs. Bohlmann was born in Augusta, GA to the late Nicholas and Edna Mohrmann Hildebrandt. She married her husband in December of 1953 and worked as a clerk at the former J. B. White of Augusta. She moved to Aiken in May of 2005. Mrs. Bohlmann was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She had a passion for crocheting, knitting and all types of needlework. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Edna Amelia Hildebrandt Newsome, Marguerite Hildebrandt Marschalk, Louise Bartling, Henrietta Avrett, and brothers; Louis Hildebrandt, William Hildebrandt and Henry Hildebrandt. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Monday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald Reiter officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
