Robert E. Hagins

Aiken- Mr. Robert E. Hagins, 81, died Friday April 27, 2007 at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Hagins was born in Columbia, SC. He served in the US Navy during WWII, and moved to Aiken in 1952. He worked at the Savannah River Plant as an electrical operator. Survivors include his sons, Marshall A. Hagins, Brooklyn, NY, Ed E. Hagins, Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Alan Hagins, Penny Scalf, Crystal Hagins; four great grandchildren, Justin Miller, Joey Scalf, Elizabeth Scalf, Miranda Hagins; and special friend, Jean Wilkins.
