Carolyn Tommie Busby Heaton

AIKEN - Mrs. Carolyn Tommie Busby Heaton, 86, died March 20. A graveside service will be held Tuesday March 22 at 11 AM at Aiken Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Neal Flowers officiating. Mrs. Heaton was born in Anderson, SC, a daughter of the late Joe Winfred and Minna McAulay Busby. She was a graduate of Anderson College and Winthrop University. She was a teacher and a homemaker. Mrs. Heaton was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Anderson, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Trenton Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Wallace Heaton; three sons, Charles W. Heaton, Aiken, John B. (Amy) Heaton, Aiken, Richard D. (Zoom) Heaton, Aiken; six grandchildren, Ashley Heaton, Kevin Heaton, Kelli Eubanks, Wesley Heaton, Minna Heaton, Andrew Heaton; six great grandchildren, Sarah Grace Heaton, Jacob Heaton, Carson Eubanks, Ashton Eubanks, Liliana Heaton, Charli Heaton. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hugh Heaton.
