Addison Wayne Smith

AIKEN, SC - ADDISON WAYNE SMITH, 20, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A lifelong resident of Aiken County, Addison was a son of Bobby Wayne and Janet Lee Smith. He was a member of Couchton Baptist Church and was a 2009 graduate of Aiken High School. He was employed at Newman Technology. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and will always be our “Little Man”. Survivors include his parents, Janet and Bobby Smith, Aiken, sister, April (Daniel) Watkins, Graniteville, SC, a special niece and nephew Mendi Watkins and McKenley Smith, two additional nieces, Cyndi and Lyndi Watkins, Maternal Grandparents, Jon W. and Gloria Jean Smith, Salley, SC, Paternal Grandmother, Catherine B. Smith, Perry, SC, and his Maternal Great-Grandmother, Addie Brown, of Salley, numerous loving aunts, uncles cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, T. S. Smith. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Steve and Joyce Smith. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1 PM at Couchton Baptist Church with the Reverend Brian Adkison officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens.
