Alpha Covar Jenkins

Aiken- Alpha Covar Jenkins, 86, died May 14 at home. Wife of the late Micah Creech "Mike" Jenkins. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 11:00 AM at Aiken Memorial Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea, III officiating. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Edgefield, SC to the late Alfred and Cleora Thomas Covar. She was a graduate of Winthrop University, member of Aiken First Baptist Church, former member of Town and Country Club and retired as a Home Economist for Clemson University Extension Service in Aiken Co. She loved working with the youth in 4-H. She is survived by sister in law, Hugh Rice (Francis) Sandifer, Jamestown, NC and close friends, Dorothy S. Keaton and Terry and Sharon Mathis.
