Elizabeth Fleming Pettis

AIKEN - Mrs. Elizabeth Fleming "G.G." Pettis, 50, died Saturday, May 21, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Reverend Robert Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Fleming, Blaine Fleming, Wayne Cooper, Raymond Hutto, Ken Millbrook, Derrick Burns and James Burns. Beth was born in Union SC, and moved to Aiken from Columbia three years ago. She was a homemaker, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She loved animals and was dedicated to her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ted Lee Pettis; son, Dustin Jay (Jennifer) Amesbury, Aiken; step daughters, Brandy (Will) Griswold, Columbia, Jennifer (Chris) Turner, Aiken, parents, Robert and Shirley Westmoreland Fleming, Jonesville, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Griswold, Devin Turner, Austin Amesburry, Ashton Amesbury, Landon Metze.; brothers, Bob (Sheryl) Fleming, Lexington, Blaine (Cathy) Fleming, Greensboro, NC.
