Henry Platt Moseley

AIKEN - Mr. Henry Platt Moseley, 88, died Friday, May 27, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Levels Baptist Church with the Reverend Larry Scales officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Mr. Moseley was born in Aiken, a son of the late Fred and Marie Emeneker Moseley. He was a lifelong resident of the Aiken area and an electrician. He was a member of Levels Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #156, and was an Aiken Electric Co-op Trustee. He also served in the US Army during WWII. Mr. Moseley is survived by his son, Dana (Katrina) Moseley, Aiken; three grandchildren, Travis Moseley, Amanda (Trent) Hutto, Reed Moseley; two great grandchildren, Azilee Hutto and Kylie Hutto; two sisters, Rosa Barrett, Columbia, Katrina DeDolach, Midland Valley. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Levels Baptist Church Building Fund, 2456 Levels Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
