Harry Lee Hicks

AIKEN, SC – HARRY LEE HICKS, 88, of Aiken, beloved husband of Anna VonKriegsfield Hicks, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Chapman, IL, Mr. Hicks was a son of the late Clair Cecil and Mary Toberman Hicks. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired electrician, and had lived in Aiken since 1984. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mary Anne Hicks Mitchell of Aiken, two sons, James Russell Hicks of Lakeland, FL and Gerald Thomas Hicks of Downers Grove, IL, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 6 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
