Betty Sue Wyrick Pace

AIKEN, SC -- BETTY SUE WYRICK PACE, 67, widow of Roy Henry Pace, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her residence. A native of Middlesboro, KY, Mrs. Pace was a daughter of the late John and Edna Florence Haynes Wyrick. She had lived in Aiken since 1964 and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and an active member of The Faye Williams Sunday School Class,the Jubilee Club and Pink Ribbonettes Club. She loved children and worked in daycare centers around Aiken for many years until her health would no longer permit. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Doug) Sides and Mary (Jim) Davidson, of Aiken; five grandchidren, Danielle (Mike) Davidson Eddings, Bill Sides, Brooke Sides, Brandon Sides and A. J. Davidson; two great-grandchildren, Declan Eddings and Hayden Eddings; a sister, Faye (Bob) LeBert, New Ellenton, SC; two brothers, John Wyrick, Loyall, KY and James (Jan) Wyrick, Lexington, KY; and a special friend Joyce Mason, Harrogate, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Wyrick and a sister, Mary Florence Wyrick. Pallbearers will be Ross Pace, Raymond Pace, Bob Marino, Don Melton, Jeff Gracey, and Bill Sides. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Kyle and Marvin Williams. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at Millbrook Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
