AIKEN – Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Corley, 51, found the peace he searched for June11, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Wednesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Mark Miller and Reverend Richard Swift will officiate. Interment will be held privately.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Allen, Duane Beck, Mark Crist, Randy Riley, Todd Stilp and Chris Fair.
Ronnie was born in Aiken and was a lifelong resident. He was a Master Machinist with Southeastern Tool, and former owner and operator of Aiken City Billiards. He was a member of Couchton Baptist Church, a talented athlete, an accomplished sportsman, former committee member of Ducks Unlimited and member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his two sons, Jason and Whitney Corley, Aiken; his mother, Melba Blackwell Corley, Aiken; a grandchild, Aden Corley; three sisters, Paulette Cheeks, Gail Martin and Jenny Marranci, all of Aiken; and his former wife, Leigh Corley, West Columbia, SC.
His father, Lee E. Corley, preceded him in death.
