Harriett "Becky" Hutchinson Mason

AIKEN - Mrs. Harriett Rebecca "Becky" Hutchinson Mason, 62, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in Aiken Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Mark Watford, the Reverend Carl Hayes and the Reverend Robert Huffman officiating. Mrs. Mason was born in Aiken, a daughter of the late Beatrice Chapman. She worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a big Georgia Bulldog fan, loved to fish and spend time at the lake, enjoyed working in the garden and growing flowers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She is survived by her two daughters, Melissa (Mark) Wall, Wagener, Amy (Walker) Nix, Elko; two sons, Cary "Bubba" Mason, Aiken, Brad Mason, Aiken; four grandchildren, Kayla Jo Nix, Kaleigh Grace Wall, Mason Wall and Dalton Nix; a sister, Barbara Wise, Aiken; four special children close to her heart, Robin (Jack) McCoy, Aiken, Rev. Mark (Edith) Watford, Barnwell, Andy Watford, Aiken, Victor (Sheila) Watford, Willow Spring, NC; two special friends, Geraldine Ashley and Susan Antwine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Mason. Memorials may be directed to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2150 Columbia Hwy. North, Aiken, SC 29801.
