Lynne Carol Volk

AIKEN, SC -- LYNNE CAROL VOLK, 72, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at MCG Health Hospital in Augusta, GA. A native of East Aurora, NY, Ms Volk was a daughter of the late Lewis A. and Ruth Ogsbury Smith. She moved to Aiken, SC in 1989 from Massachusetts. Survivors include a daughter, Lauri Lee (Michael) Cotela, Aiken, SC; two sons, Todd (Leslie) Volk, Long Meadow, MA and Randall S, Volk, Palmer, MA; seven grandchildren, David Gladkowski, Andrea Volk, Joe Volk, Claudia Volk, Annie Volk, Rebecca Volk, Rachael Volk; her step-mother, Mary Smith, Beaufort, SC; two sisters, Karen Horning, and Joanne Romine and three brothers, David Smith, Lewis Smith, Jr., and George Smith. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 5:00 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
