Brenda Singleton McMullin

AIKEN, SC -- BRENDA SINGLETON McMULLIN, 62, beloved wife of Dwain G. McMullin, died Monday, September 5, 2011 at her residence. A native of Brodhead, KY, Brenda was a daughter of the late Hermon and Mary Craig Singleton. She had lived in Aiken since 1977 and worked as the assistant to the Master-in-Equity from 1984 to 2000. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Dibble Road. Survivors, in addition to her husband Dwain, include a son, Michael Scott (Dawn) Moore II, Aiken, a grandson, Jesse Thomas Moore; three sisters, Pat Pruitt, Brodhead, KY, Janice Parsons, Lexington, KY and Evelyn Croley, Dayton, OH; three brothers, Ronnie Singleton, Louisville, KY, Bob Singleton, Chicago, IL and Gervis Singleton, London, KY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Giaffis, Joshua Powlas, Calvin Hughes, Dennis McCaskill, Tim Royals and Jerry Zipperer. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday and also 1 hour prior to the service at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
