Marilyn Schroeder Marshall

AIKEN - Marilyn Kay Schroeder Marshall, 71, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave., with the Reverend Martha Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will follow the visitation in Pineview Cemetery, N. Augusta. Pallbearers will be Ricky Rule, Brandon Hall, David Rule, Jimmy Adamson, IV, Marcus Vickers, Jr. and Ryan Sullivan. Ms. Marshall was born in Fairview, OK, a daughter of the late Ervin Schroeder and Dianne Kusch Stachel. She had been a resident of Aiken for over 50 years, and was the first female crane operator at the Savannah River Plant. She was a member of the Cold War Patriots and of the CSRA Parkinsons Group. She is survived by her daughters, LaDonna M. Jantzen, Aiken, Vonda K. (Jimmy, III) Adamson, Aiken, Connie C. (Ricky) Rule, Aiken, Pamela R. Basey, Aiken; sons, Marcus L. (late Theresa) Vickers, Jr., Aiken, Benny S. (Barbara) Clayton, Windsor, Todd L.
