Aiken – Beatrice S. Radzinski (Murawski) passed away on October 16, 2011 after an extended illness, at the home of her daughter in Aiken, South Carolina. She was the loving wife of the late Boleslof “Boley” Radzinski.
Born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, December 31, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Florian and Jadwiga (Maciejowski) Murawski. She was educated in the Ipswich School system. She worked for 30 years for Filenes and then Macy’s until her retirement. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and our Lady of Hope Parrish. She was a volunteer for many years at the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce information booth. She was an avid and accomplished quilter. She enjoyed sewing and gardening as well as walking Crane’s beach. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and friends.
Beatrice is survived by three daughters Patricia Dempsey, Shutesbury, MA; Rose Marie (Stephen) Karigianis, Malden, MA, Jane (Marcus) Huff, Aiken SC; three sons, William (Susan) Radzinski, Cripplecreek, CO; Paul (Laurie) Radzinski, Denver, CO; B. Peter (Lydia) Radzinski, Rockport, MA; a deceased infant son Ronald, and 10 grandchildren; Michael (Mary) Karigianis, Stefanie Radzinski, Jenifer Karigianis, Hannah Radzinski, Brent Adriance, Clark Adriance, Alexander Radzinski, Nicoli Radzinski, Tasha Radzinski and Erik Radzinski.
She was predeceased in death by one sister, Mary Worrall; three brothers; Anthony Murawski, Casimir Murawski and Teddy Murawski. She is survived by one brother Edward Murawski.
A visition will be held at Whittier Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St. Ipswich, MA. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. A celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Hope Church, Linebrook Road, Ipswich, MA. will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Coles Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial at Ipswich Cable Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.
