AIKEN – Mr. Sam Aubrey Lever, 82, of Aiken, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 in Kenosha, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Millbrook Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard will officiate. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta. Mr. Lever was born in Augusta, GA, a son of the late Sam Jones Lever and Dasey Pearl Hamilton. He served in the US Army during WWII, and moved to Aiken in 1967. He was a supervisor in the Reactor Department at the Savannah River Plant, was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and the Millbrook Whittlers Club. Survivors include his beloved wife, Evelyn Elizabeth Orr Lever; a daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Lever, Kenosha, WI; a son, Paul Allan Lever, Aiken; four grandchildren, Michelle Lever, Michael Lever, Joshua Lever and Meagan Lever. In addition to his parents, a brother, J.D. Lever, preceded him in death. Memorials may be directed to Millbrook Baptist Church, 176 E. Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
