Alice M. Tindall

AIKEN, SC -- ALICE M. TINDALL, 79, widow of Johnnie I. Tindall, died Monday, November 21, 2011 at her residence. A native of Irwin County, GA, Mrs. Tindall was a daughter of the late Henry Benson and Janie Mae Whitley Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Levels Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Shirley (Dennis) Ely, Irmo, SC, Alice (Chris) Franks, Aiken, Brenda Eubanks, Evans, GA and Cindy (Delma) Lyons, Smoaks, SC; four sons, Larry Tindall, Aiken, Jerry (Judi) Tindall, Aiken, Ivey (Frances) Tindall, Aiken, and Dan (Aliza) Tindall, Sumter, SC; 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Larry Scales officiating. Interment in Southlawn Cemetery will be private. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tindall, Joseph Daugherty, Nicholas Tindall, Brandon Tindall, Johnnie Tindall and Dennis Ely, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
