Doris Elizabeth Williams

Aiken-Doris Elizabeth Williams, 89, died July 27 at Carriage Hills Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at graveside, 12:00 PM July 31 at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Greenville, SC to the late William Clifton and Grace Ora Beam Williams. She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC, one of the first clients at Tri Development Center, resident of Croft House for over sixteen years, and Carriage Hills for over eight years. Survivors include her sister in law, Sarah Williams, Aiken, nieces and nephews, Bud Williams, Sallye Rich, Doris Orr, Nancy Skidmore, and Brenda Turpin. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Williams, Maurice Williams and a sister Birdie Corzine. A memorial service will be held in Aiken at a later date.
