Neva Brodie Richardson

AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Neva Brodie Richardson, 82, of Aiken, beloved wife to the late R. L. Richardson, died Saturday July 31, 2007 at Azalea Woods. Born in Aiken County, SC, Mrs. Richardson was a daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Hutto Brodie. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, and retired from Pet Dairies. She was a former foster grandmother with Children’s Place. Survivors include her three daughters Dale Richardson (Andy) Davis, of Westminister, SC, Pat (Dennis) Price, of Leesville, SC,and Jan Richardson, of Aiken, SC, three grandchildren; Drew Davis, Brodie Davis and Kristi Harmon, and six great-grandchildren; Jessica Davis, Glen Davis, April Davis, Erin Davis, Timothy Harmon and Tyler Harmon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 2, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Reverend’s Gareth Hegler and Eddie Penland officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Richardson, Billy Martin, Jimmy Martin, Ronnie Gunter, Carl Cunter and Larry Kitchings. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC, 29803.
