Gayle Henderson Rees

AIKEN, SC – GAYLE HENDERSON REES, 67, widow of Col. Warren K. Rees, U.S. Army, Ret., died Friday, August 03, 2007 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A native of Griffin, GA, Mrs. Rees was a daughter of Gova and Emma Buchannon Henderson. She was a devoted officers wife and was a former president of the Officers Wives Club at Ft. McClellan, AL. She was an RN and worked in the psychiatric unit at the Medical College of Georgia where she was once voted Nurse of the Year. Survivors include a daughter, Valerie (Mark) Swygart, Windsor, SC, a son, Vincent K. Reese, Flat Rock, NC, two grandsons, William and Kyle Rees and a niece, Cindy Pradhan, Anderson, SC Graveside services will be held September 4, 2007 at Arlington National Cemetery.
