Albert Edgar Funderburg

Aiken-Albert Edgar Funderburg, 84, died August 2, 2007 at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church. The Reverend Louie Anderson and Reverend Glen Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Funderburg was a life long resident of Aiken County, a son of the late Edgar Funderburg and Cora Lee Morris Funderburg. He served in the US Air Force during WWII. He was an employee at Graniteville Co. for over 49 years, and was member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Abie Day Funderburg, Three daughters, Thelma (Buddy) Baynham, Aiken, Jennie (Monroe) Coffey, Aiken, and Phyllis (Buddy) Winham, Aiken; seven grandchildren, Bryan Baynham, Teresa Baynham, Robert Baynham, Mark Coffey, Cindy Shope, Becky Risinger, and Bonnie Winham; twelve great grandchildren, Ben Baynham, Joseph Baynham, Cameron Baynham, Josh Baynham, Tonya Baynham, Olivia Baynham, Elaina Baynham, Victoria Shope, John E. Shope, Syndney Coffey, Evan Coffey, and Teddy Risinger. Pallbearers will be Mr. Funderburg’s nephews. Memorials may be directed to Regency Hospice, 105 Summerwood Way, Aiken SC, 29803.
