Reverend Hayden Wyatt

AIKEN – Reverend Hayden Edward Wyatt, 94, of Aiken, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at Hitchcock House. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Town Creek Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Fred Andrea, III and Reverend Tommy Knotts will officiate. Interment will be private in Southlawn Cemetery. Reverend Wyatt was born in Mayo, SC, a son of the late Tom and Dora Wyatt. He was a resident of Aiken since 1953, a member of Town Creek Baptist Church, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, a member of the Aiken Baptist Association, and preached in over 103 churches in his career Survivors include his daughter, Judy Wyatt Parker, Aiken; a son, Weldon E. Wyatt, Aiken; six grandchildren, Michael Wyatt, Tom Wyatt, Ashley Donaldson, Mona Rivers, William Hayden Mullins and Hailey Wyatt. Reverend Wyatt’s wife, Estoy Howell Wyatt, and two sons, Joe D. Wyatt and Hayden Dennis Wyatt, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3157, Aiken, SC 29802.
