Miriam "Betty" E. Baker

AIKEN, SC - Ms. Miriam E. Baker "Betty", 73, died Friday, December, 30, 2011 in Aiken, SC. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in Park Hill Cemetery, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday evening at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home, Columbus, GA. Ms. Baker was born January 19, 1938 in Columbus, GA. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Windham and Ella Mae Nolin Windham. Miriam was retired from Dolly Madison Bakery, and enjoyed her family and loved her animals. She was preceded in death by her brother, E.B. Hudson, and her son, Edward T. Youngblood, Jr. "Buddy". Survivors include her three daughters, Kathaleen Renee Anderson, Columbus, Terry (Rusty) Burnham, Aiken, SC, Rebecca Duncan, Dothan, AL; two sisters, Sylvia Taylor, Dallas, GA, Sue (Henry) Truett, Folsom, LA; sister in law, Jeannette Hudson, Columbus, eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
