AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Cynthia King Peacock, 83, of Aiken, died August 7, 2007 in Buffalo, NY. Funeral services will be held privately. Mrs. Peacock was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, a daughter of the late William and Ruth Anne Gans King. She moved to Aiken in 1997, was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, Town and Country, the DAR, Colonial Danes and Life Long Learning. Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne G. Dingwell, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Diane Watson, Aiken; a son, Bruce R. Peacock, Loxahatchee, FL; two grandchildren, Jessalyn and Seth Dingwell; a sister, Suzanne Newhall, Venovolla, PA. In addition to her parents, her husband, Dr. Howard Kenneth Peacock, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
