AIKEN, SC -- TAMMY LYNN EMPOLITI, 46, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at her residence. A native of Torrington, CT, Tammy was a graduate of Clearwater, FL High School and St. Petersburg Junior College. She had moved to Aiken about 10 years ago from Florida and was a former MRI Technician at University Hospital. She had obtained her personal trainers certification, and was planning a career in fitness. Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Poland, father, Richard (Alice) Empoliti, a sister, Michele Empoliti and two brothers, Mike Empoliti, Richard Empoliti, Jr., two step-brothers, Norman & David Grant, a step-sister, Hedi Demaio and her companion, Andrew Bailey all of Aiken.
