Doris Franklin Redd

AIKEN, SC -- DORIS FRANKLIN REDD, 87, widow of James Redd, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Mrs. Redd worked for 27 years at A & P Supermarket. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Ponnie (Mike) Reynolds, Evans, GA; a son, Terry (Rachel) Redd, Aiken; six grandchildren, Terry Carpenter, Jason Redd, Bryan Redd, Tracy Redd, Kelly Redd and Brandon Redd; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Chase, Tyler and Trinity and a sister, Bernice Cone, Clearwater, SC. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Henry Chennault officiating. Burial will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
