Myrtle Bowman Pearson

AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Myrtle Bowman Pearson, 90, wife to the late Charles M. Pearson, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Mrs. Pearson was a native of Somerset, PA and was the daughter of the late George G. and Anna Reckner Bowman. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of Vamo United Methodist Church in Sarasota, FL and served as President of United Church Women of Sarasota, prior to 1996. Survivors include her son William Pearson of Aiken, SC, two grandchildren, Karrie Davis, of Clarksville IN, and Timothy Pearson of Aiken, SC, four great-grandchildren Anna and Ryan Davis, and Emily and Katie Pearson, and her brother Bernard Bowman of Myersdale, PA . Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Aiken County, P.O. Box 699, Aiken, SC 29802.
