James Sallee

AIKEN, SC -- JAMES MORRIS SALLEE, 75, died Thursday, April 11, 2012 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Mr. Sallee was born in Owensboro, KY to the late Oscar and Dorothy Webber Sallee. He was a graduate of Wayne High School in Wayne, MI and served in the U.S. Air Force. He formerly worked for Quality Technology Corp. in Etowah, TN. He had been a resident of Aiken County for 26 years. Mr. Sallee worked for Shaw Industries in quality assurance & at SRS for several contractors including Bechtel, Westinghouse & Morrison Knudsen. Survivors include his four daughters, Robin Lewis (Ivor Stoddard, Jr.), Aiken, SC, Dawn Kassermann (Tim Arrell), Warrenville, SC, Patricia Hamlin (Wayne), Cape Coral, FL, Laurie (Tom) Brascon, PA, his two sons, James Sallee, Jr. ( Stacy Elliott), Aiken, SC, and Scott Sallee (Karen), PA, 17 Grandchildren, 11 Great- Grandchildren, and a brother Joel Robin Sallee, IA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2 PM at Shellhouse- Rivers Funeral Home. Burial will be Tuesday in Manchester, TN. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O.
