Jennie Grand Simons

Springfield- Mrs. Jennie Grand Simons, 95, died Sept. 14 at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 17 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Marcin Zahuta celebrant. Final prayers and commendations will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Simons was born in New York City to the late Simon and Antoinette Chltaty Grand. She was married to the late John J. Simons. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church; retired executive secretary and member of the SC Needle Point Guild and Garden Club. Survivors include grandchildren, Mara Shirley, Crystal Montgomery, April Woodworth, Rebecca Banks, John J. Simons, Jr. Daniel J. Simons; and a number of great grandchildren.
