Ruby Piper Willing

AIKEN - Mrs. Ruby P. Willing, 85, entered into rest Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Reverend Taylor Wells and the Reverend Louie Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Metts, Steve Ergle, Ronnie Heath, Stan Rodgers, Vernon Carter and Monty Merle. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Bible Learners Sunday School Class. Mrs. Willing was born in Aiken, a daughter of the late Leo Piper and Willar Franklin (Wiley) Moyer. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved her family, enjoyed fishing and working in the yard, traveling and camping. She is survived by her beloved husband, Hiram N. Willing, loving couple of 64 years together on April 2, 2012; daughter, Cindy Willing (Robert) Ellis, Aiken; two grandchildren, Melissa and Jonathan Ellis; two great grandchildren, Cierra Benward and Da'than Tager; brother, Jessie (Carrie) Moyer, Aiken.
