Mildred Seekamp Hosang

AIKEN – Mrs. Mildred Alice Seekamp Hosang, 94, of Aiken, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2007 in Calvary Cemetery with Father James LeBlanc officiating. Mrs. Hosang was born in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Minerva Pierce Seekamp. She and her husband, the late John George Hosang, moved to Aiken in 1939. She was a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association, and received numerous awards for her contributions and services. She was an avid bowler and a homemaker. Survivors include her two sons, Mike and David Hosang, both of Aiken, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204, or the charity of one’s choice.
