Freeman Lowe

AIKEN – Mr. Freeman Lowe, 79, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave., with the Reverend Levon Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Hollow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Lowe’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Lowe was a lifelong resident of Aiken. He served in the US Army, and retired from the SC Department of Transportation. He was a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his two daughters, Pamela (Randy) Lowe Morgan, Aiken, Mary Ann Rish, Aiken; a son, Michael (Debbie) Lowe, Aiken; six grandchildren, Jonathan Lowe, Christopher Lowe, Brittany Rish, Joshua Rish, Brandon Morgan and Heather Morgan; seven great grandchildren; a brother, the Reverend Levon Lowe, Clearwater, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Justine McGee Lowe, and a brother, Edward Lowe.
