Patsy Wilson Lockhart

PATSY WILSON LOCKHART, 64, widow of James Kelly Lockhart, died Monday , July 16, 2012 at her residence, ending her last battle with cancer. She was a native of Thomasville, NC, the youngest daughter of Carl Charles and Elizabeth Barnes Wilson. She was graduated from Meredith College in NC with a degree in Mathematics, and taught math for many years, before retiring to SC with her beloved husband. She was an amazing wife and mother, and was never happier than when she was with us, taking care of her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Lib Grogan of Eden, NC. She is also survived by her children and their spouses: Brian and Pam (Kulik) Lockhart of Yorkville, Illinois, and Amy and John Hayowyk of Sparta, NJ. She loved her grandchildren and loved to share stories of them to others: Allison, Megan, Jim, Tom, Peggy, Riley, Elizabeth, and Kelly. She was much loved and will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church followed by a reception at the Stevenson-McClelland Building.
