AIKEN, SC - DEBRA BENWARD, 58, beloved wife of George I. Benward, Sr., died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her residence. A native of Dover, NJ, Debra was a daughter of Nancy Flatt Dale Collins and the late Harold Dale. She moved to Aiken in 1990 from New Jersey and was a longtime waitress at Stoplight Deli. Survivors include her husband George; her mother, Nancy Collins, Succasunna, NJ; daughter, Tammy Benward, Aiken; son, George I. Benward, Jr., Aiken; grandchildren, Brandon Benward and Cierra Benward; sisters, Donna Collins, Iowa and Nancy Terwilliger, Pennsylvania and a brother, John Dale (Anna), North Carolina.
