Mr. Bobby Dean Phillips Aiken, SC Graveside Services for Mr. Bobby Dean Phillips will be conducted at 2 PM on Friday, September 7, 2012 in historic Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St., Beaufort, SC with full military honors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life ceremony in the cemetery. Mr. Phillips, 72, entered into rest on July 26, 2012. He formerly lived in Goose Creek and Summerville, SC. He was born in Soperton, GA on December 9, 1939. He joined the United States Navy at an early age and served faithfully until his retirement in 1987. He then worked at the Naval Shipyard and General Services Administration in Charleston. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by three daughters, Jeanne (Tad) Hunt, Charleston, SC, Meliza Ford, Charleston, SC and Jasmin (David) Ward of Tennessee; a son, Robert Phillips, Charleston, SC; a sister, Debra (William) Butler, Aiken, SC; a brother, Billy (Ann) Phillips of Georgia; six grandsons and two nephews.
