Vincent D. Lombardo

AIKEN, S.C.- Vincent D. Lombardo, 73, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Born in Stamford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Angelica and John Lombardo, Sr. After serving in the United States Marine Corps for four years, he was employed by The Perkin- Elmer Corporation in Norwalk, Connecticut, most recently as Supervisor of Data Processing, retiring in 1995 with over 30 years of service. Vin's avid love of golf brought he and his wife from Connecticut to Aiken in 1997, where he was a member of the Woodside Plantation Golf Club and St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 43 years, Carol S. Lombardo; two brothers, Carl Lombardo and John Lombardo, Jr. and a niece, Karla Lombardo. A requiem mass will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church on Friday, September 14th at 10:00 A.M.
