Erin Stone

AIKEN, SC – ERIN LEAH STONE, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Aiken, Erin was the daughter of Sharon Argo Stone and Keith A. Stone. Her early years included dance, gymnastics, swimming, and competitive cheerleading, where she excelled as a flyer and which remained her passion for many years. She was a 2006 graduate of South Aiken High School and received her LPN certification in 2008 from Aiken Technical College. Survivors include her mother Sharon of Aiken; her father Keith of Carlsbad, NM; her 9 month old son, Kasen Wesley Stone; her brother, Kyle Wesley Stone, Charlotte, NC; maternal grandparents, L. Wesley and Marjorie T. Argo, Newtown Square, PA; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Stone, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Erin was preceded in death by her twin baby sister, Sharon Leslie Stone, and her paternal grandfather, Robert Miller Stone. Erin will be sorely missed by her family and many friends who will remember her contagious smile, big hugs, bigger heart, and tender devotion to her precious son Kasen. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11 AM at Cedar Creek Church with Rev. Philip Lee officiating. Graveside services to follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
